I have been in the insurance industry for 38 years. Thirty of those years were with an insurance reciprocal that is owned by local governments but operated by insurance and legal professionals. The organization has over 170 municipalities and regional districts as members, and it manages a wide range of liability, property, and ancillary insurance claims for its members. During my time at the organization, I was the Director of Claims and Director of Insurance.

I was born and raised in Vancouver and attended the University of British Columbia where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science. My area of expertise was in claims management and risk management. However, I stepped away from the claims field for several years to create and launch a property insurance program for local governments.

I have extensive liability and property claims management experience, having managed hundreds of complex catastrophic losses. I am well versed in risk management and very knowledgeable about local government pooling. I also maintained my insurance brokerage license for many years to run the property insurance program.

I am passionate about sharing knowledge and mentoring the next generation of insurance and pooling professionals. My experience would be an asset to any organization seeking claims consulting or claims auditing services, as well as pooling expertise.

帰国後外資系銀行に就職。結婚、出産を経てバンクーバーに移住。

リタイア後JTB専属通訳・ガイドとして、VIPから修学旅行の学生方のお世話に尽力。
コロナ禍では、エミー賞・最多１８部門受賞の”将軍”という作品で現場通訳、又プロデューサー達と俳優陣の意思疎通をアシスト。

現在はカナダの航空会社の現役CAとしても活躍中。
３歳から花柳流日本舞踊を初め20歳で名取。

お肉博士1級を持つ精肉のスペシャリスト。岩手県の肉屋で15年間の経験を積み、現在はカナダのウェストバンクーバーにあるAburi Marketの精肉部門でリーダーとして和牛のカット技術を指導しながら、いわて和牛の認知度を高めるために尽力。

肉も魚も捌けるスペシャリスト。岩手県で10年間魚屋、11年間肉屋、1年間居酒屋のキッチンでの経験を積む。現在はカナダのウェストバンクーバーにあるAburi Marketのキッチンで働き、いわて和牛を使った創作料理を提供をすることで、その認知向上に貢献。

IT企業に就職し、プログラマー、新人研修講師、役員秘書、新規事業部の営業サポート等、同社で様々な職種を経験する。
35歳でスターバックス、40歳でホテルとサービス業に従事。
よりホスピタリティを学ぶためにバンクーバーの専門学校に留学。旅行会社のインターン時に代表と出会い、代表のバイタリティ、チャレンジ精神に感銘を受ける。
帰国後、当社のいくつかのプロジェクトで資料作成、校正を担当。

Coming from a background of commercial animation and illustration, he excels at interpreting your ideas and turning them into eye-catching designs and videos. His strengths also include developing social media brand identity, storyboarding for videos, and writing engaging text.
